The City of Ontario is getting ready for its Annual 5K Reindeer Run and Rudolph’s Dash Fun Run on Saturday, December 17! All proceeds from this race will be donated to the Ontario-Montclair Promise Scholars, an award-winning program designed to assist Ontario-Montclair youth by helping them prepare for their journey towards a college education, and the Recreation & Community Services Empowerment Scholarship. After the race, spend time in the Rudolph’s Roundup area, where you can visit local businesses and race sponsors or have the kids participate in exercise activities and craft booths. Thousands of classic car lovers from across the country and around the world are gearing up for the annual Route 66 Cruisin’ Reunion! On September 21st and 22nd, downtown Ontario’s historic block of Euclid Avenue will be the center of vintage automobiles and motorcycles, plus live entertainment, kids activities, and tons of food vendors. New events for 2018 include the West End Animal Shelter, which will be onsite, amazing tribute bands, extended hours and much more! Annual Inland Valley Street Rods Rally & Cruise
The 21st Inland Valley Street Rods Rally & Cruise event will take place this Saturday, June 6th from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Euclid Avenue in Downtown Ontario. Hosted by the Ontario Rotary Club Foundation and the Inland Valley Street Rod Club, the event will showcase classic cars, muscle cars, street rods, antiques and more! Visitors will enjoy a pancake breakfast, food and live music while they look at the assortment of cars onsite. Proceeds will go to the Ontario Rotary Foundation to benefit the Foundation’s local charities in Ontario. The event will also feature a Pinewood Derby and all day cruising along the original Route 83.
