Construction is well underway at the highly anticipated New Haven Marketplace in Ontario Ranch! Scheduled to open Fall of 2020, this unique shopping center will feature convenient stores for every day chores, cool restaurants and place to meet up with neighbors and friends. Some of the confirmed retailers include: Stater Bros., Starbucks, Chase Bank, Pio Pico’s Tacos, Kona Cleaners, Jersey Mikes, Next Republic Artisan Kitchen, Oi Asian Fusion, Shomi Noods Ramen Bar and many more. Help us celebrate the City of Ontario’s Festival of the Arts on October 19th from 11-7 pm. This festival exemplifies the city’s commitment to make Ontario a well-known destination for arts and culture in Southern California. Enjoy over 50 artisan booths, a variety of dance and music performances, featuring a symphony orchestra, a mariachi band, a blue grass and jazz band and more. Mini walking tours will also be available to tour historic buildings in the Ontario Arts District along with informational booths. Food and craft beer trucks will be onsite throughout the day. Get ready for the ultimate celebration of Independence Day! The city of Ontario has a full calendar of July 4th events, kicking off at 9 a.m. with the annual downtown parade, patriotic music in Town Square, and the traditional All-States Picnic. Gates open at 5 p.m. at Westwind Park for more family fun, including live entertainment, bouncers, games and food vendors. The highlight of this star-spangled day will be the fireworks spectacular, which will start at 9 p.m. Bring your blankets or lawn chairs!
Residents will soon have a fantastic new space for their furry best friends to romp and run around! The community’s Dog Park is opening this spring just steps from Cherry Park, and it will have dedicated areas for small and large dogs, so everyone can have a great time playing. It will also be a fun spot for New Haven neighbors to socialize and make new friends!
The holidays are here, so bring the family for a special night of holiday cheer! It’s time for the annual Christmas on Euclid Tree Lighting, an evening of fun for everyone at Ontario Town Square. Save the date for Friday, November 30th, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., and watch the magnificent tree light up with brilliant colors, enjoy movies, an appearance by Santa Claus, vendors, refreshments and more!
Mark your calendar for October 13th and bring the kids to Ontario Town Square for Fall Fest. Enjoy a fun-filled autumn day from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. with great activities for the kids, pumpkin painting, food and retails vendors, a petting zoo, zip line, mechanical bull, inflatables and much more! The event is free, but unlimited wristband and tickets can be purchased at the onsite information booth.
Aviation buffs will not want to miss the Planes of Fame Air Show in Chino on May 5th and 6th, when 40+ historic aircraft will be performing and on display. Highlights will include P-47 Thunderbolts, P-38 Lightnings, P-51 Mustangs, A-10 Thunderbolt and Heritage Flight, Sean Tucker Aerobatics, and many others! There will also be a special panel discussion with some of our nation’s honored veterans, a Kids Zone, food, vendors and more!
Get some fresh air and exercise for a good cause! Sign-up today by yourself or get a team of friends together for the MK 5K & 10K Run/Walk on April 22nd. The races kick-off at 8 a.m. at Eastvale Community Park. The route is stroller friendly, but no dogs allowed. There will also be a 1-mile kid run. Register by March 31st to get your swag bag and other great stuff! Event proceeds benefit the charity work of the Mary Kay Foundation.
