New Haven recently hosted a National Night Out and it was a terrific success! Numerous residents participated in this special annual event that promotes police-community partnership across the country. Special guests included Mayor Paul Leon and representatives from Ontario’s police and fire departments. Block Captain Mike Potts also did an amazing job answering questions regarding community safety and other topics. Homeowners mingled with friends and neighbors, plus there was delicious food and plenty of activities for the kids.
Celebrate vineyard heritage and the local harvest at the fun-filled 2017 Inland Empire Grape Harvest Festival on August 19th at the Cucamonga-Guasti Regional Park. Don’t miss grape stomping, pie eating contests, beer and wine gardens, plus live entertainment. There will also be food trucks and merchandise vendors. Join the frivolity at the Inland Empire Beer and Music Festival on May 13th at Guasti Park, Ontario. This special event will showcase 20+ breweries, live music including Alien Ant Farm, vendors, and one-of-a-kind brews. The official charity of this year’s event is Dive Warriors, a non-profit charity to help disabled veterans. Tickets are $20 -$40 and 21+ only will be admitted. Festival hours are noon to 5 p.m.
Get ready for a delightful evening of music, art, food, wine, sprits and beer tasting. This year’s 3rd Annual Art Uncorked event is Thursday, April 27th from 5:30 pm. to 8:30 p.m. at Brinderson Hall in the Chino Fairgrounds. Enjoy crafts beer, delectable fare from local restaurants, along with jewelry and pottery by community artists. Musical performances include jazz by Los Aka Tombros and the Chino Community Theater. Proceeds from this special event benefit the Youth Scholarship Program and The Cultural Arts Center.

On March 21st at 3:30 p.m., the city of Ontario is hosting its monthly teen-only movie night at the Ovitt Family Community Library. This event is exclusively for kids ages 13 -18 and a fun opportunity to spend time with friends watching the newest releases and best cult classics. Plus, there’s free pizza! Holiday Smiles are being collected from November 4th through December 10th at various locations from Ontario to Upland.
